Steve Lofberg is a seasoned international executive who has spent his career in the shipping, trading, and logistics markets. His experience over the past 45 years includes the trading & risk management for global freight positions, establishing and managing multiple global offices, and the development/management of joint ventures with strategic partners.

He is well versed in all aspects of international trade including bulk, container movements, market & project development in addition to trading activities. After spending over 20 years with a number of global shipping and trading companies, he established his own firm in 1994. Since then, his client list has included some of the largest global companies with locations as diverse as Hong Kong, Chile, Europe, and Egypt in addition to the United States. He has participated in stand-alone startup operations in addition to establishing departments within larger organizations who wanted to expand globally.

The current focus is on identifying and consulting with companies who wish to expand their international trading/logistics footprint by moving either up the commodity sourcing channel or down the sales channel. This includes developing and implementing processes by which commodity movements may be monitored. The goal is to gain transparency and better manage trading & logistics channels from origin to destination where possible. This would include not only standard commodities but also indentity preserved commodities as well as organic product.
